Notice of temporary relocation of the IPA Library Service from 29 January 2024
To facilitate urgent building remedial work on part of the IPA campus the IPA Library service has been temporarily relocated to Room 5 within the IPA Training & Education centre.
Library staff will continue to be available to answer all queries from students during our regular opening hours. However, during this period the Library reading rooms will be closed to students and students will be unable to use the study desks or browse the book shelves for reading material. An alternative reading room has been setup for students to use, we ask that students come to Room 5 first and Library staff will show you to the study room location.
A selection of frequently borrowed books are available for students to borrow in Room 5. The Library will endeavour to provide access to any other reading material requested by students either in print or as an eBook. In some cases there may be a waiting period while the material is retrieved from the Library building or ordered online.
Online access to the Library catalogue, electronic databases of journals and eBooks is not effected and students should continue to access online resources through the Library Moodle page.
Spring term opening hours: Monday - Thursday 9.15am-7pm, Friday 9.15am-5pm. Saturday 20th April 9am-2pm.
Summer Hours start on Wednesday 24th April Monday - Friday 9.15am - 5pm.
